Cauliflower Pizza Crust (Experiment: 2)

I think my mom got so in to my first Cauliflower Pizza Crust. Within 2 days, she bought me some cauliflowers from market LOL. I got boosted up to do my 2nd experiment on this recipe.

Ingredients:
cauliflower 2 medium Cauliflower cheese-cheddar 1/4 cup shredded Cheddar Cheese
mozarella 1/4 cup shredded Mozzarella oatmeal 2 tbs Oatmeal Flour
oregano 1 pinch Oregano thyme 1 pinch Thyme
egg 2 Egg garlic-powdered 2 pinch Garlic Powder

 

Topping:

tuna-mayonaise-canned Tuna Mayonnaise (canned) mozarella Shredded Mozzarella
ketchup Ketchup cheese-cheddar Shredded Cheddar Cheese
Steps:

To be honest, this was a barely survival >.<  For preparing the dough, i did same steps as the 1st experiment with above ings , except at first i used 1 egg. So, when it was time for baking, since i still hadn’t (okay, haven’t..) bought parchment paper, mom insisted me to try using her Happy Coal instead of baking it. Happy Coal is a double non-stick pan. We can pan fry or grill our dish with it, and flip the tool upside down so it cooks evenly.

I excepted her idea. I formed crust in it. Close the lid, and cook it on low heat. 10 minutes later i took a peak, and the crust was sweaty on its surface. So, i did what every dummy does, panic! LOL And i thought, “Hey, maybe i should flip it over so the surface is cooked and dry”. So i did. I have mentioned it is non-stick pan, right ? And you surely can guess what happened.. yupe, it tore apart to pieces LOL.

To save it, i put all the pieces in a bowl, add an egg and beat them together. Put it on a aluminium foil covered baking tray, and put it in oven 240 C in 15 minutes. But it was still not dry. So i turned the heat to 180 top only, and baked for another 10 minutes. And it was too cooked (almost burned, but not.. fiuuuh).

I made 2 toppings. I spread 1 side with tuna mayonnaise, the other side with ketchup and shredded Cheddar. Then i put leftover shredded Mozzarella on top. Put it back in and bake it for another 10 minutes.

Sepertinya mamaku juga demen sama Pizza Crust Bunga Kol pertamaku. Dua hari kemudia mama belikan aku bunga kol lagi LOL. Aku jadi semangat buat melakukan eksperimen keduaku nih.

Bahan:
cauliflower 2 Bunga Kol uk. medium cheese-cheddar 1/4 cup Keju Cheddar Parut
mozarella 1/4 cup Mozzarella Parut oatmeal 2 sdm Tepung Oatmeal
oregano 1 jumput Oregano Kering thyme 1 jumput Thyme Kering
egg 2 Telur garlic-powdered 2 jumput Bubuk Bawang Putih

Topping:

tuna-mayonaise-canned Tuna Mayonnaise (kalengan) mozarella Mozzarella Parut
ketchup Saos Tomat cheese-cheddar Keju Cheddar Parut
Langkah:

Jujur, eksperimen ini nyaris tidak selamat >.< Untuk persiapan doughnya sih aku melakukan sama persis lagkah2 seperti eksperimen pertama dengan bahan2 di atas (lebih sedikit tepung), dan tadinya hanya pakai 1 telur. Ketika hendak panggang, karena aku belum beli kertas roti, mama suruh aku coba “panggang” dengan Happy Coalnya. Happy Coal itu semacam wajan anti lengket dobel, tutup dan wajan-nya kembar. Jadi bisa dibolak balik. Bisa untuk goreng, tumis, bahkan panggang.

Aku terima ide mama. Bentuk crust di Happy Coal. Tutup. Lalu tarus dia tas api kecil. 10 menti kemudian aku intip, crust-nya keringetan. Seperti layaknya semua dummy lainnya, aku panik! LOL Lalu mikir, “Mungkin kalau aku balik, permukaan crust jadi masak dan kering.” Jadi kulakukan. Nah, Happy Coal kan ada lapisan anti lengketnya. Jadi ya.. bisa ditebak.. crust-nya berjatuhan dan jadi berkeping-keping LOL

Untuk menyelamatkannya, aku taruh kembali kepingan2 itu dalam mangkok, lalu aku coba lengketkan kembali dengan tambah telor. Taruh di nampan panggang yang kulapisi aluminum-foil, masukkan oven suhu 240 C selama 15 menit. Tapi masih belum kering crispy. Jadi suhu kuturunkan ke 180 C api atas, dan panggang lagi selama 220 menit. Dan ternyata, kematangan.. nyaris gosong >.< Untung tidak pahit.

Untuk topping aku buat 2 macam. Di separuh sisi aku kasih tuna mayonnaise. Sisi lain aku kasih saos tomat dan keju cheddar. Lalu kutaburi mozzarella parut di atasnya. Panggang lagi selama 10 menit.

Hmm.. bagaimana menurut anda ? Menurutku.. harus ada eksperimen ke-3 😛
